The Holiday Rush

Well, Christmas is over and I'm still juggling art ... and others. I sold 4 paintings at Bistro Bethem and that's good news for the holidays! The only art I have to show recently are my efforts from last night's Figure Drawing. I'm starting to organize the show in the Library Atrium for the Figure Drawing Group in July. It seemed so far away when I first started planning and now it feels like it's around the corner. The first session poses will be in a little more than 2 weeks and I have a juror and am starting to fine tune the details.

Hurry, Hurry

Dec. 14
The holidays have me a little bogged down and the fact that my housekeeping needs some attention ... seeing as how all I did was paint for months.

I'm still managing to pull together the Figure Drawing sessions once a week. It's so relaxing ... like a 2 and a half hour vacation.

Uninstructed Figure Drawing

Linda Dec. 7th, 2010

Life is good! I get to spend one night a week drawing for 2 and a half hours, with the most wonderful, talented people and perfect models! How great is that?

The day after

It was an exhausting day of hanging art and then the opening from 6 - 9. It was a lot of hard work and great fun. I sold my favorite painting ... thank goodness for the help and support of great friends!
